Emihle E-Guup Mpofana is an artist , singer , songwriter and a rapper based in Gugulethu/Montana Cape Town. She was born on the 15th of January . She started her artistic career at the age of 12 while she was in the 6th Grade and she has never stopped ever since . She was mostly influenced by her father who was a musician in the opera industry and her family was more from a church going background so music has always been a part of her life .
Career
E-Guup has performed at CTV’s most liked show HYPE IT UP !Late 2019 . She has also performed at The Megacy Tour which was in Cape Town opening for South African rapper AKA , and has also opened for Nadia Nakai at the Winter Festival which was occurring in the township of Langa , Cape Town late 2019 . She has also performed at many more local events in Cape Town for the youth . As a DJ she has performed at AYEPYEP lounge for her very first time as a DJ .

YELLOW FEELZ EP is E-Guup’s first EP ever
dropped in August 2019 on Soundcloud . It has been a great experience for E-Guup as she was going through some things and the colour yellow happens to be her favourite colour, it promised her light in everything that she’s been through .
DIAMOND PIECES is a two track EP dropped on the 24th of February 2021 on all streaming platforms such as Spotify , Amazon , Apple MUsic etc . This EP tells a short story of E-Guup’s love life and confusion about her partner and its more likely an R&B one . Such a Gem .
